MallMonkey is a retail discovery platform designed to help people see what is available in nearby physical stores before making the trip. Instead of searching shop by shop, users can browse products, check store information and find items worth seeing in person from one place.

What do we do?

MallMonkey brings nearby shops and their catalogues together in one platform. The aim is to make physical shopping more searchable: explore products, check which stores carry them, and decide where to visit.

How it works

Participating retailers can provide selected product and availability information to MallMonkey. The platform then organises that information into a consumer-facing catalogue so users can search across participating stores instead of checking each retailer separately.

Search the catalogue by product, category, brand or shop.
2. Choose
Open a product to see details, available sizes and reservation options.
3. Visit
Reserve where available, then collect or try the item at the physical store.

Reservations

Where a participating store supports reservations, users can request that an item is held before visiting. This is intended to reduce unnecessary trips and give the store a stronger indication that a customer is genuinely interested in an item.

Reservation deposit
The current planned reservation deposit is €5 per item.
At collection
The deposit is intended to be credited toward the final purchase when the item is collected.
Availability
Reservation availability can vary by product and participating retailer.

Pricing

Browsing MallMonkey is intended to remain straightforward for shoppers. Any charge connected to a reservation is shown before the user confirms it.

MallMonkey is being designed around data minimisation and clear separation between retailer inventory information and user information. Retailer integrations should only provide the information necessary to operate the agreed catalogue and availability features.
